SMALLMOUTH

A CRYSTAL CLEAR MECCA

When it comes to the local fishing scene, Indian Creek is one of the best wading opportunities for smallmouth, a species of bass that is known for its charisma and fight on the end of a line.

We have scouted several miles of Indian Creek and found the best spots for congregated schools of fish. We will take you the distance you are comfortable with and begin our early morning trip back to the lodge property. On any clear creek like ours, it’s a numbers game. It’s not uncommon to catch 30 to 40 fish in a mile stretch, ranging from 8 inches to 15 inches.

Or, if it’s a shore meal you want, switching up to goggle eye is just the ticket for a delicate, white flaky treat.

Payment accepted by cash, check or Venmo only.
